Derby Reach/Brae Island Parks Association

DRBIP on devices

The Derby Reach/Brae Island Parks Association needed a new website built on WordPress that was functional, easy to navigate, and uncomplicated enough for their mature members to use it.

Under contract with Metro Vancouver Regional Parks, we designed a layout with a comfortably familiar style – narrow header, sidebar on both sides – to present the site’s relevant elements most efficiently.

Functionality includes an easy to use events calendar, a volunteer sign-up form, and more improved photo galleries. Simple, basic, effective.

Tasks: Design, development, consulting, tutoring.  View Site

Joan Martin says

In February 2016 Derby Reach/Brae Island Parks Association (DRBIP) wanted a new web site, one which was handsome, but simple (no glitz!) and easy to navigate. Once the initial design was established the real work began. Without Mari’s assistance, expertise and incredible patience, the site would never have gotten off the ground. By June, drbipa.org was online.

It was a pleasure to work with Mari throughout the whole process and beyond. We have achieved what we set out to do and DRBIP would be extremely happy to work with her again.
