Terry’s Window Cleaning

Terry hadn’t updated his website in 10 years and it showed. Built on HTML, with its dated appearance, lack of functionality, and too little text to chew on, terryswindowcleaning.ca begged for a redesign.

After writing copy for 10 pages, we started a new hosting account and built a WordPress site using our favorite page builder, Elementor.

We gave each page a watery motif, reminiscent of sponge and squeegee movement, to illustrate Terry’s actual work.

Terry’s stock of positive reviews was given a home in a testimonial plugin, to statically and dynamically display them around the site.

The site is now fully responsive and phone number links are hot. The structure was arranged to promote a funnel effect.

And, because he wanted it so, the Contact page uses Terry’s favorite photo of Garibaldi Lake!

In February 2016 Derby Reach/Brae Island Parks Association (DRBIP) wanted a new web site, one which was handsome, but simple (no glitz!) and easy to navigate. When we realized that our site needed a total makeover we contacted Mari. She had some great ideas on how to implement that, starting with migrating the site from an old, overpriced hosting account to a modernized, cost-effective web host. She then restructured the content, edited old web copy into fresh text, and revamped our whole blog. We especially like how she converted content from old pdfs into modern accordion displays. She made our membership list searchable and filterable for users, and easier for me to update. There are so many aspects of the new site that we just love.
