The previous website for Wild Roots Journeys was not in bad shape, it just needed restructuring, modernization, and an overall freshening up.
Fortunately, owner Silke Hockemeyer had a vast library of still and video images to work with. We replaced the hero images on each page and put a video of wild grasses on the home page. We replaced old link boxes with dynamic feature boxes. We linked the site with its TripAdvisor Reviews and placed them in a cool slider. The Instagram account is now updating fresh images. As Silke is an avid blogger, we placed newsletter sign-up forms and connected the email list to an RSS feed. And although WRJ appeared well on SERP pages, we improved its performance with better on-page SEO.
